Simply put, I am passionate about solving wicked Brand Strategy problems. My past decade of working with and finding solutions for Senior Marketing Leaders across 30 industries, plus my 23 years at P&G (culminating in GM Global Marketing Knowledge & Innovation), provides a powerful foundation to help clients get closer to their goals while helping them shine.
I am passionate about delighting consumers. My 32 years in Insights and Marketing (including Insights VP at P&G) has included helping over 80 brands discover how to improve their consumers’ lives in a way that enables a deep, long-term connection with them. Understanding what consumers want, and then giving it to them, is a key enabler to our clients’ business growth.
I am a proven and passionate brand artist who unleashes growth by deeply understanding consumers and translating that knowledge into resonant brand stories. My expertise as an integrative thinker and people-first leader was informed by my early career with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company plus 23 years in global marketing at P&G (the last 10 as VP/GM). I love helping clients solve complex brand issues, define enduring growth strategies, and create consumer (and employee) loyalty beyond reason.

I bring dot-connecting and scenario creation skills that drive product and commercial innovation. My 25-year P&G track record includes breakthrough business growth and innovation in a wide range of markets, categories, and business situations, most recently as Vice President / General Manager for the company-wide $3B+ New Business Creation portfolio. I have deep experience with growth strategies, opportunity identification and assessment, brand architectures, and innovation programs.
I’m a decisive, results oriented, dynamic sales and shopper marketing leader with a proven track record for driving strong top and bottom line results across a broad set of challenging roles. I’m an innovative thinker who finds unique opportunities to build Brands and grow revenue. My work included pioneering use of Shopper Understanding to create powerful value propositions with retail partners.
I love to partner with brands to design a clear strategy that stepchanges results. For nearly 20 years, I have built brands and organizations while delivering the P&L. In addition to managing several $1 billion brand portfolios at P&G, I have worked with mid-size and digitally-driven startup companies on strategy, branding, and capability-building. I also enjoy training and coaching employees so they learn techniques to leave a legacy on their business.

I am a specialist in consumer behavior, with 40+ years of experience developing and applying state of the art methods for eliciting deep levels of consumer understanding. My PhD in Consumer Psychology, 34 successful years with P&G, and recent advisory work across a range of industries provide a unique platform for developing and applying consumer insights to product development and marketing.
